Most enjoyed in the late spring when the landscape is green and the days are long, Mykonos is also a favorite early-autumn destination – the sea is still warm and the summer crowds have dissipated. (Should you only have time in the summer to visit, fret not, we’ll help you find your way to the lesser-known beaches where you can enjoy an absolutely private swim).

Tiny whitewashed alleyways give way to blue balconies framed by brilliant fuchsia bougainvillea, where you can drink in the beautiful beaches and make your plans to venture out for the celebrated dining and lively nightlife. It seems you have all the time in the world to enjoy the abundance of clothing and jewelry boutiques and art galleries in the center of town – most are open until nearly 2 AM!
